Let me introduce myself and services I offer.

My interests for foreign languages was sparked at a very young age because my mother was so keen on teaching me English.

At senior high school, I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to study in Australia. After returning to Japan, I entered Tokyo University of Foreign Studies where I brushed up my English skill and learned Portuguese.

Upon graduating from the university, I began my career as a translator and writer. Later, I worked overseas for three years.

My career as a freelance translator took off after my overseas assignment and for more than 10 years, I have been working in translation. I have handled a wide range of fields such as news, fashion, IT, academic papers, manga, games, music and sports. I am currently focused on marketing translations for the fashion, IT, e-commerce and fitness industries.

I offer professional marketing translation (English>Japanese, Japanese>English, Portuguese>Japanese)as well as copywriting and proofreading.
